How it Started
The collaboration between Amigdala/Wyth and music industry giants such as Live Nation, Vivo Concerti, Friends and Partners, and the Music Innovation Hub began in 2020. The goal was to create a groundbreaking digital experience during the COVID-19 pandemic when live events had shifted online. Amigdala’s leadership and Wyth’s innovative platform became the backbone of the project, supporting both live streaming and interactive audience engagement.

Challenge
Wyth faced a significant challenge in mid-2020 when tasked with providing the digital infrastructure for the first large-scale paid streaming concert in Italy—Heroes, an event aimed at supporting live music workers affected by the pandemic. The event required Wyth to integrate live streaming for three different stages (main stage, interview stage, and immersive stage), build an interactive virtual space for audience engagement, and enable e-commerce capabilities for official merchandise sales, all within a highly compressed timeline of just two months.

Amigdala’s strategic expertise played a pivotal role in transforming the concept into reality, supporting Wyth in designing and executing a seamless digital experience.

Key solutions included

Interactive Event Platform: Wyth’s platform integrated three live-streamed stages, offering viewers a dynamic digital experience with easy navigation between stages.
Virtual Plaza for Interaction: Developed an interactive virtual space where attendees could connect with each other using bespoke communication tools, enhancing the sense of community and engagement.
Integrated E-Commerce: Enabled real-time merchandise sales through a partnership with Feltrinelli, allowing viewers to purchase official event products directly through the platform.

Results
Amigdala’s support helped Wyth and the Heroes event achieve impressive results:
1. High Audience Engagement: More than 38,000 attendees participated through live streaming, while 3,000 on-site attendees engaged in the concert, creating a truly hybrid event experience. 2. Increased Revenue Streams: The integration of e-commerce capabilities during the event facilitated significant merchandise sales, adding a new revenue stream for artists and organizers.
3. Enhanced Brand Recognition: The successful execution of the Heroes event positioned Wyth as a leader in delivering innovative virtual experiences for the music industry, attracting attention from major industry players and paving the way for further collaborations.

The collaboration between Amigdala and Skyway Monte Bianco began with the goal of creating a unique and engaging visitor experience that seamlessly integrated the natural beauty of Monte Bianco with advanced digital storytelling. Amigdala’s role was to modernize the visitor journey, emphasizing the rich history and stunning landscapes of the Mont Blanc massif, while creating immersive digital experiences to enhance the overall visit.

Challenge
Skyway Monte Bianco ffaced the challenge of balancing technological innovation with the preservation of natural and cultural heritage to meet the history of the cable car and the surrounding mountains.

The goal was to integrate digital storytelling without overshadowing the stunning alpine environment. Additionally, it was crucial to ensure that the content would resonate with a diverse audience of tourists, from local visitors to international adventurers, making the experience accessible and engaging for all.
